There’s Nothing Wrong with Eminent Domain

In the name of redeveloping the inner cities and urban wastelands, Jus Primae Noctis has an excellent article on Faust’s current hero, Logan Darrow Clements. Let’s be honest, stadiums, malls, and theaters do revitalize slums.

Dude!! That’s what the occasional Democrat thought in like 1945, *before* half a century of careful sociological studies that showed that major influxes of capital in the form of large-scale corporate projects tend to disrupt local networks, destroy communities, and evacuate culture.

Note that the current weirdness is that the average fire-arm-toting libertarian is liable to agree with the average Democrat on this point. An interesting political alignment which god-fearing radicals should be taking advantage of.
