My Experience with Laser Hair Removal

by Chris Abraham on 28/06/2005 ·

I had my maiden voyage to the pool over the weekend and my back is smooth thanks to Doctor Wendy Gottlieb.

First I told you about Wendy’s 20% off deal on laser hair removal (and laser vein removal — like spider veins); next, I told you about how I had my back zapped.

I have already had two sessions. My next session is this weekend. I will then have a follow-up in a couple months to get the stragglers. And then that’s it.

I can tell it works because Wendy didn’t do the back of my neck, below my hairline, and it is a furry mess.

So, I do endorse the service completely, but I won’t lie to you that sometimes it stings like a bugger, but most of the time its just annoying.

And then during the last session, she zapped some red veins that are on my face and even zapped a couple little moles. The veins disappeared immediately and the little moles turned black and went away.

I didn’t notice the facial veins or the moles because I am a guy, but apparently I was ghastly and horrific and now I am quite handsome.

The cool thing is is that its made to be less painless. The nose/tip of the gun is supercooled so that it numbs the target; also, they administer a topical anesthetic of some sort which helps.

And at the end of the day, I no longer have a hairy back.

The 20% off sale on both laser hair removal and laser vein removal are an introductory offer and will expire at the end of the Summer.

Part of me is shaking my head, and part of me wants my considerably hairy back to get worked on.

Also, knowing Chris, I don’t believe, even for a moment, that the veins/moles were unnoticed. He’s not a nancy, but I am sure he noticed.

I noticed.

He is much better looking now, in fact, I saw him beating the co-eds off with a stick as he made his way down to the boathouse this morning…
