John Hlinko Launches StemPAC

by Chris Abraham on 24/05/2005 ·

John Hlinko’s goal for StemPAC is, “to aggressively target elected officials who are holding up stem-cell research, and gently “persuade” them to change their minds — or “not so gently” get them the heck out of office.”

Friends, I wanted to give you a heads up on a new effort I have just launched today with some others on behalf of stem-cell research:

www.StemPAC.com.

Our goal is to aggressively target elected officials who are holding up stem-cell research, and gently “persuade” them to change their minds — or “not so gently” get them the heck out of office.

1) If you agree with this goal, please visit www.StemPAC.com today, send a letter to Congress in support of stem-cell research, and tell your 10,000 closest friends to do the same (there is legislation that could be voted on this week, so do it now);

2) If you REALLY agree with this goal, and want to help, visit www.stempac.com/help/ and sign up as a volunteer;

3) If you REALLY, REALLY agree, and want to REALLY, REALLY help, visit http://www.stempac.com/donate/, and make a small donation. We will use this initial funding for advertising to build this effort as quickly as possible — and demonstrate the success necessary to woo the big funders necessary to really take this to the next level.

Check it out, spread the word, and get your 10,000 closest friends to do the same (really — 10,000. This is a self-funded effort right now, and friend-to-friend spreading is essential).

www.StemPAC.com

thanks

John

Thanks much for helping spread the word, Chris! You da man!

The good news is, this is only hours old, and we’re already getting a great response.

Please spread the word — we really can win this:
