Skype is Not a Business VOIP Solution

by Chris Abraham on 23/05/2005 ·

I made a mistake (mea culpa) the last time I ordered services from Skype. This misstep locked down my PayPal account and restricted my Skype account. I can’t buy anything. If Skype were an actual business, they would allow me to spend my money.

Now, I cannot order SkypeOut credits or buy my SkypeIn 202 number.

I am effectively excommunicated. Does anyone know how to return me to Rome?

If Skype actually had tech support, was service-oriented, and could get me back online, I would recommend the service — it is close to perfect — but I cannot because I have had a hobbled account for months now.

Right now, Skype is a joke.
