Blo.gs Sold to “an Unnamed Individual”

by Chris Abraham on 16/05/2005 ·

Blo.gs, “a directory of recently updated weblogs and tools for tracking interesting weblogs,” announced that it has been sold.

As stated on the site’s blog, “i am in the final stages of completing a sale of blo.gs to a new owner, and expect to hand over the site, along with the user data, sometime on or after june 13, 2005.”

This is a big deal because Blo.gs is currently top-three blog aggregator, along with weblogs.com and technorati.com, and is a TypePad and Movable Type default ping server.
