Mark Del Bianco is blogging about Internet, technology, telecom, IP, and VOIP law on his new blog, Darkweb. Mark is a friend of mine who is always between six months and five years ahead of me, and I am a technologist.

About this weblog
Darkweb examines the practical implications of changes in computer and communications technologies, in the regulation of those technologies in the U.S. and elsewhere, and in the business plans and futures of the companies implementing those technologies. The blog will focus on cutting edge issues such as VOIP, alternative last mile technologies, discrimination on IP networks, and on the social and antitrust consequences of the current merger mania in the U.S. communications industry. Our hope is to provide an ideologically balanced forum for examination of the practical consequences of these issues – and how they are likely to affect all of our lives.
