David Gelles is a Winner

dg.jpgOf course I knew that David Gelles was going to take top honors at the 2005 Bethesda Literary Festival for Short Essay.


I also knew that some of the shit on David’s blog is complete bollocks, such as, “He is Eggers without the gamesmanship. Sedaris without the stick up his butt. Alice Walker without the vagina and dreads.” He has the gamesmanship, the stick, and the vagina.
