I was actually called a carpetbagger by the guy at the next pool table when I first visited Carrboro, North Carolina. When I found out what carpetbagger meant, I was pleased and delighted at the ramifications.



Oh, and I forgot to mention that he was real nice and friendly when he called me a carpetbagger. There was no threat or judgement. Just called me one when I talked to him about something or another.

Real charming, even, like all the folks I have met in Chapel Hill!
