Rover owners hate the Check Engine light. I hate the check engine light. The little yellow light is finally dark.
Thanks to Parker at Arlington Motorcar Service and the folks ar the Half Street DC DMV Inspection Station, I am now ready to register.
All I needed was to replace 2 O2 sensors. I also got the oil changed while I was at it. I also removed the big chrome bash bar. I didn’t like the way it looked. It is also not terribly functional.
Thus, my very intimate and friendly relationship with my mechanic, Parker W. Johnson, begins. I will send him a Christmas card and maybe even a fruit cake this year, for sure.
I have not had a relationship with my mechanic since I owned a BRG 1974 Triumph TR-6.

I will be at the Main DMV office tomorrow morning if you want to hang.
