Kyle, Brent, Chris, Luke, the Student and her little dog too, and I ended up watching Franciscan Friars and Knights reenact the burial of Christ.

Quite literally.

It is even called the Ceremony of the Burial of Christ

Every step is exact and the tomb is exact and the Friars and Knights carry spears (one of which bears a sponge which I am sure is drenched in vinegar), and the Christ is life-size and is gently moved from the cross from which He was taken down, placed into a white sheet, and then walked around and around the nave until the placed into the tomb.

When we left we were flabbergasted.

And it only dawned on us then that were were in the wrong place. We were in the wrong monastery. How many monasteries can you fit on one street? Within a couple block? In Brookline, quite a few, apparently.
