I just received an email from David Michael announcing what really ends up being a Very Prestigious Gig at Iota Club and Cafe in Arlington.
Hi Folks,
First, thanks to all of you who have been coming out to our recent gigs. Our gig at Wonderland on Inaugural Day was one to write home about-really an off the wall scene (more about it at the website, www.romeotango.net).
Now some important News: Romeo Tango will be performing at Arlington’s illustrious Iota Club on Thursday, March 3 (www.iotaclubandcafe.com). We start at 9pm sharp and are opening for Cairo Fred, also an up and coming local band. Since we’re opening, please try to get there before our set starts. We’ll play for about 40 minutes before Cairo Fred takes the stage; they’re a great band and are definitely worth hanging out to see. More about to Cairo Fred at www.cairofred.com.
For those who are not familiar with the IotaClub, it’s one of DC’s top rock and roll venues–host to national acts and a real showcase club for up and coming talent. (a friend of mine saw Norah Jones there a few years ago just before she took off).
