We are all using Firefox now. We were not told to by IT, we installed it ourselves. And we are talking about it on breaks. We are even sharing extensions.
I work for a communications and marketing company. We are savvy and we are brilliant. We use the Internet in everything we do. But everything we do involves putting the horse before the cart.
Form always follows function here.
We don’t try technology because it is cool.
We use the tools we are provided.
Until now.
Firefox has come through like wildfire. IT didn’t recommend it. It was grass roots. We like it better. And so we are using it. And just to hammer it in, we are not early adopters, we are not gearheads, and we are certainly not programmers. So, Mozilla is a revolution. If we are downloading it and installing it, then we are at a Tipping Point.

Glad you’ve finally joined the bandwagon. I first found out about Firefox from Ryan at Murky, about 2 months ago, and use it daily on my g4 Mac. I’ve found it not as reliable as Mac’s Safari, but more versatile. Occasionally if I’m pushing it too hard it will disengage from a window. That is, the ap doesn’t freeze, but a window will just go dead - no access to any text windows or browser bars. This is a rarity, and for the most part, I’m loving Firefox. Glad it’s growing in popularity.
I have been using it for years not, but now I is a we. I mean, literally years, when it was Mozilla alpha. But my cart has always been before my horse and I always try technology because it is cool!
